Job Summary The Pricing & Contract Data Analyst provides strong analytical support to the public sector team around pricing reports, membership list analysis, and contract analysis. This will primarily be achieved by gathering, transforming, and integrating multiple data sets to attain analytics that drive action. This position will help perform quantitative analysis to model impact to profitability and growth based on various data sets. As the Pricing and Contract Data Analyst for Public Sector support, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and implementing regular monthly reporting and analysis. In this role, you will collaborate with the Capture & Development team, Contracting, and Sales teams to perform both routine and ad hoc analysis to gain insights. Additionally, you will conduct market research to present in-depth analysis in a clear, concise, and comprehensible fashion. This position will encompass a combination of technical and analytical skills to assist with regular monthly reporting requirements and additional special projects. Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Organize and clean data that impacts contract alignment Analyze contract usage to help improve profitability Assist in analyzing, tracking, and reporting on contract usage Create reports of regular and ad hoc results on departmental requests Troubleshoot problems and research cause of variances between various data sets Interpret data and recommend appropriate course of action Develop systems and procedures to enhance data tracking as needed Maintain data sets and membership lists related to contract usage and eligibility Help maintain compliance with applicable contracts and associated sets of data Operate with direct guidance on work assignments which are generally straightforward and of moderate complexity Work closely with Contracts Specialists and Capture Manager to understand data needs and organize accordingly Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Math, Business, or relevant field At least 1 year of experience in a Sales or Support role Proven experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze data Understanding of how to use CRM Required Skills Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate both internally and externally Excellent project management and execution skills, including clear methods for tracking action items, consistently following up with involved parties, and leading executive briefings on opportunities and progress Ability to manage and report on tasks Strong ability to multitask and prioritize assignments Ability to work in a dynamic, results driven and fast-paced culture Unique Requirements Extended hours are required to complete some special projects Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $45,000 - $85,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
