Convex is transforming the way developers build applications.
Our mission is to fundamentally change how software is built on the Internet by empowering developers to create fast, reliable, and dynamic apps without the headaches of complex backend engineering or the hassles of database administration. We provide a cutting-edge, full-stack developer platform that seamlessly combines a powerful custom database with an integrated execution environment.
The Team:
Convex has assembled a team of technologists who have built and designed some of the largest backends in the world, with exabytes of data, millions of transactions per second, and shipped desktop and mobile software onto billions of devices. We are a group of friendly, collaborative, and passionate individuals that love working in-person together in our offices in SF and NYC.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Developer Relations Engineer who is passionate about driving engagement within the web development community. In this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding the adoption of Convex by shaping our content and developer community initiatives. You’ll be at the forefront of advocating and fostering a vibrant developer ecosystem around our platform.
What You’ll Do:
You will generate content in the form of writing blog posts, podcasts, technical tutorials, and creating demo apps to raise awareness of Convex in the developer community
You will be an active contributor to our growing developer audience and bring feedback to help continuously improve our platform
You will become the voice of Convex and engage our audience by identifying other opportunities to reach more developers in the web development community
What Excites Us:
You love talking and writing about technology and have a passion for engaging developers
You have a technical background with some experience writing code and building web/mobile applications
You might participate in the developer community via Meetups, conferences, events, and you might already have a following
You are creative and love to find new ways to make concepts more understandable
You have excellent communication, teaching, and organizational skills
A big plus if you have prior experience evangelizing a developer platform that is beginning to take shape at an early stage
