About the Role:
As a Salesforce Developer in the Uber BizApps team, you will be responsible for building applications using Salesforce core functionality and Mulesoft for B2B teams across Uber Mobility, Delivery and other Global Ads Sales teams. Your solutions will have a significant impact on Uber’s results in areas of user growth, revenue and global expansion.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement Salesforce solutions, focusing on Sales Cloud and MuleSoft integrations to optimize the Lead to Cash journey.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using MuleSoft, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
- Create custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and other Salesforce components to meet business needs.
- Analyze and streamline existing sales processes within Salesforce to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
Basic Qualification:
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Proficiency in MuleSoft development, including experience with Anypoint Platform, API design, and data transformation.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and how they map to Salesforce functionalities.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and design effective solutions that align with business objectives.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, particularly with sales and marketing stakeholders.
- Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Platform Developer I or II) and MuleSoft Developer certification are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, data modeling, and custom application development.
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge of Salesforce Media Cloud, OmniStudio, and Salesforce Industries CPQ.
- Holding multiple Salesforce and/or MuleSoft certifications, such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Salesforce Flow or MuleSoft RPA to enhance business processes.
- Hands-on experience in API management and governance within a sales-focused environment.
- Experience working in Agile development environments with a focus on continuous delivery and integration.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive improvements in the sales process through technology.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
