About the role
This is a role for an ambitious head of sales that is looking to prove themselves with a fast growing company with consistent 200%+ quarter over quarter. As Head of Sales, you'll be a key player in helping our company scale to the next innings. While this is a managerial role, you’d also be acting as an AE for the first quarter to understand our business better.
Responsibilities -
- Learn our sales process by being in the weeds and understand how it can be scaled to a greater efficiency.
- Manage, mentor & scale our sales team of 8 account executives & SDRs.
- Train our team, understand our business challenges, and identify areas that each AE can reach their peak productivity.
- Work with engineering, operations and marketing teams to understand sales expectations.
- Help setup a RevOps function within operations team that can help sales team be more productive with demand generation
- Forecast, set targets and sales team quotas for the following year - adjust innately as the business changes.
Qualifications -
- Educational and early career success, having taken a business from $5M to $25M ARR quickly.
- Having managed a team of at least 5 AEs in the past and carried a team quota
- Strong knowledge of cloud - AWS, GCP, Azure etc. is preferred or having worked at a dev tool startup.
- Clear communication skills: Speak and write clearly.
- This would be a fast-paced job. Things might change, and tech is always evolving.
- Work well with different teams. Communicate with engineering, product, and others to ensure customers are happy.
