Indee Labs is enabling T cell immunotherapy manufacturing with gene delivery. The team is developing a non-viral intracellular delivery system based on microfluidic vortex shedding (µVS) to rapidly deliver nucleic acids, proteins and gene editing complexes to T cells.
About the role
Indee Labs is a biotechnology startup backed by SOSV, Y Combinator, Social Capital and Founders Fund. The team at Indee Labs develops and markets Hydropore for more effective engineered cell therapies.
Indee Lab’s non-viral delivery platform, Hydropore, is a robust solution that overcomes the limitations and costs of electroporation, viral transduction, and other non-viral transfection methods. Hydropore is being developed in collaboration with 3 of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, various biotechs and leading research institutions including UC San Francisco, Stanford, Medical University of South Carolina, the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease among others.
We are seeking a Head of Sales to join the team full time to accelerate the growth and adoption of Hydropore. Indee Labs is headquartered in Berkeley, CA and accommodates remote work when appropriate. This position will be located in Berkeley, CA or remote and occasional work travel may be required.

Responsibilities
- Grow Research Use Only revenues for Hydropore Instruments and Device Plates
- Own all the plans and strategies for developing business and acheiving sales goals
- Assist in the development of the sales plan and prepare forecasts and KPI reporting
- Land and expand: build process and funnel for manual top-down reachout, onboarding, activation and expansion
- Evangelize the product and close all deals to start before building out the sales team
- Work collaboratively will all other team members to further define the product and customer needs.
- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet sales objectives
- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with all customers to start and key customers upon achieving revenue growth
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience selling laboratory equipment and a track record of exceeding quota
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Strong leadership and team building skills
Preferred Skills
- Interest in or experience with microfluidics
- Background in biology, immunology and/or cell therapy
- Ability to thrive in the startup environment
