Summer Intern - IT Strategy & Enabling Technologies - 240343: N/A Description IEEE is seeking an energetic and responsible intern with interest and some experience in software design and development, and relevant skills. Experience gained in the classroom and through self-learning outside of the classroom will be considered. The intern will work with IEEE's Digital Enablement and Architecture team in the following areas: ● Implementing machine learning models, statistical models, and application prototypes ● Developing prototypes using generative AI and similar large language models. ● Developing use cases for automating business processes and improving staff productivity ● Promoting AI, ML, and data science use across the enterprise ● Identifying/creating solutions related to cloud engineering as well as operating IEEE’s cloud estate ● Developing proofs of concepts on AWS cloud services and sharing the findings Specific Responsibilities ● Researching technology solutions and providing assessments ● Participating in solution design ● Developing/testing applications ● Creating/updating application/technology portfolios and architecture artifacts ● Collaborating with technology stakeholders Qualifications Applicants must: ● be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field ● be graduating no later than the Spring of 2026 (undergraduate or graduate) ● have excellent analytical and math skills, with the ability to work on teams ● have some experience in software design and development gained in the classroom or elsewhere ● be prepared to work onsite Job: Technology Primary Location: United States-New Jersey-Piscataway Organization: Information Technology Schedule: Full-time Job Type: Temporary Job Posting: Dec 23, 2024, 8:36:19 PM Recruiter: Mariann Ceres Corin
