Responsibilities We are seeking a Data Scientist Analyst with strong reporting knowledge to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Washington, D.C. This position is remote but must have ability to come on-site as required. The qualified applicant will become part the team and provide business insight through data reports and recommendations to support tracking of network services from multiple vendors according to national policies and guidelines. They shall work independently or semi-independently with a minimum of guidance or direction. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: Analize data and create reports for management for ticket status, outages, downtime and other metrics. Create and distribute reports on a daily and ad hoc basis to all stake holders Utilize data and reports to provide recommendations to team and management. Work with management and customers to identify issues and provide recommendations as needed. Providing insights using vendor and client data for telecom upgrades Submit cost analysis reports for various projects and report any anomalies Evaluate and recommend projects to teams as requested Working with MS Excel to track information and produce reports. Investigate exceptions from reports and research and update as needed Assist in the review and development of current and new knowledge base articles and procedures. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience or high school diploma with 6+ years experience. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Must have resided in the U.S. the past 5 years and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years. Strong knowledge or experience with networking and telecommunications. Strong experience with Excel and reporting (Python or other scripting languages) Advanced experience with Excel spreadsheets, (Formulas, Pivot Tables and Reports) Visio and PowerPoint. Experience creating reports utilizing data from Service Now, SPLUNK and outher sources. Excellent customer service skills Must be able to multi task within a large project with strong emphasis on improving and optimizing current processes. Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task on projects as needed. Experience or exposure to SharePoint and Service Now. Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
