Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Founding Engineer at Backhouse in New York, NY. As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our platform, ensuring its functionality and scalability. You will collaborate with the founding team to innovate in present and prospective verticals, solve technical challenges, and shape the future of Backhouse's technology.
Qualifications
- Backend Development, Frontend Development, and Full-Stack Development skills
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and scalable architectures
- Knowledge of databases, API integration, and security protocols
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in the restaurant industry or procurement systems is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
