These devices involve extreme noise suppression, high dynamic range mics, mic array technologies, advanced DSP audio algorithms, and proprietary design micro loudspeakers – all carefully integrated to create a lifeline for firefighters, soldiers & law enforcement officers – it must work, always! Mission-critical audio begins where consumer audio leaves off.Job DescriptionMotorola Solutions' Florida team is searching for an Engineering Student to join an advanced technology and product design team that is focused on wireless speech communications under a wide range of conditions, for demanding customers.Responsibilities may include:Development of audio data analysis and visualization methodsAutomation of Audio Lab testing and Data AcquisitionConcept prototyping: take a new audio algorithm or design from concept to initial working model to assess technical performance and strength of perceptionDevelop machine learning techniques for audio processing and data analysisDesired skills and abilities:Matlab and/or Python programming.
