The Ad Experience team at The New York Times is looking for an Android Engineer. You will work across multiple Android applications to deliver consistent advertising experiences. You will work with designers, Product Managers, and other engineers providing a critical revenue stream to support The New York Times’ mission of seeking the truth and helping people understand the world.
This is an opportunity to use a wide variety of tools across all The New York Times Android Apps (News, Cooking, Games, The Athletic), ranging from Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, hybrid web technologies and advertising technologies. This is a hybrid role based in our New York City Headquarters. You will report to the Engineering Manager, Ad Experience.
This role will require limited on-call hours. An on-call schedule will be determined when you join, taking into account team size and other variables.
The annual base pay range for this role is between:
$104,000—$130,000 USD
