Are you passionate about advancing the frontier of artificial intelligence and machine learning? Entrata is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to be a pivotal part of our dynamic team. As a ML Engineer at Entrata, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing our AI/ML delivery platform. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of our products, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving the integration of cutting-edge technologies.
Rresponsibilites:
- Build and continuously optimize our AI/ML delivery platform, blending off-the-shelf and custom tooling to support the full model lifecycle for Entrata products.
- Contribute to MLOps-focused projects to develop, test, deploy, and maintain ML models efficiently.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure ML initiatives are in sync with product goals.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to apply data science and ML within Entrata’s strategic framework.
- Champion best practices in ML development and foster strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Build tools to monitor data pipeline performance, data quality and models in production.
- Establish best practices with coding standards, workflows, tools, and product automation.
- Review and maintain existing tool-set and codebase (pipelines, models, algorithms); continue to improve existing tools and build new ones.
- Scale the operations of the data science and engineering teams by building automation patterns and libraries.
- Guide the direction of ML tooling, setting technical standards, and advocating for best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems using AWS technologies, including EC2 instances, Step Functions, and Lambda for serverless computing.
- Hands-on experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) best practices using tools such as Github Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Demonstrated ability to manage machine learning projects from conception to implementation, including effective stakeholder communication.
- Strong commitment to knowledge sharing, best practice documentation, and continual learning in the fields of machine learning and MLOps.
- Skilled in creating scalable and intuitive interfaces by integrating AWS services, particularly using Amazon API Gateway for RESTful APIs and leveraging Amazon S3 for robust and scalable storage solutions.
- Proficiency in the full lifecycle of machine learning and software development in production environments, covering data preparation, model training, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Demonstrated skill in authoring well-tested, scalable, and well-documented code, with a particular focus on peer reviews and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Ability to take ownership in a collaborative and open environment, fostering teamwork and shared responsibility.
- Minimum qualifications include a BS/BA degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or related quantitatively based field of study.
- 3+ years of practical experience with tools like Amazon SageMaker and Terraform, as well as 3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, data science, SQL or similar data querying languages, Python for data science, and applied statistical techniques, including ML model development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or related quantitatively based field of study.
- Experience with AI/ML platforms like OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face, and open-source projects like Langchain and LlamaIndex.
- Proven experience in a product-focused role within a SaaS technology company.
