About the Position
We are looking for a Jira and Confluence Atlassian Administrator to join a team specializing in third-party application administration and management. We will trust in your experience to help manage the environment and guide decisions to optimize these products for teams across the firm.
Jira and Confluence are essential tools for collaboration at Jane Street. In this role, you will help maintain, upgrade, grow, and operate our Atlassian application infrastructure. You’ll also support our team’s existing Jira workflows and business processes, working directly with other teams across the firm to gather requirements, implement new workflows, and improve existing ones.
We’re looking for a strong communicator with a knack for problem-solving who is ready to make an immediate impact. Most of your work will involve helping your internal customers identify their needs, advising them on their options, and teaching teams how to use their current products and workflows.
Our team will look to you to employ robust root-cause analysis and provide sustainable and well-documented solutions when problems arise. You will help ensure our business processes are followed consistently and promptly, approved accurately, and remain searchable and auditable for future knowledge sharing.
As our team continues to grow, so will the responsibilities of this role. We suspect you may expand your expertise into other enterprise applications and products such as (but not limited to) Tableau, Workday, and Salesforce for both on-premises and cloud deployments, onboarding, and ongoing management.
