Responsibilities:- Performs experiments on small scale to assess process changes/improvements.
- Evaluates performance and suitability of new technologies and process changes by testing and reporting different critical parameters.
- Performs trials and experiments, participate in the design and scale-up of new technologies.
- Conducts routine bases analytical tests to evaluate and control product yield, purity and impurity profiles.
- Works closely with other lab team members to support the upkeep, maintenance, and efficient utilization of the lab.
- Write SOPs, batch records, and develop research outlines for development projects.
- Utilize robust statistical analysis to draw appropriate conclusions from the data
Qualifications:- Knowledge of protein purification techniques.
- Experience in protein process development.
- Knowledge of analytical tools for analysis of proteins.
- Experience with DOE (design of experiments), six sigma, and lean manufacturing a plus.
- Knowledge of GMPs.
- Good interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in cold environment.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree is a scientific discipline with at least 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to push/pull 50 lbs. and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
- In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work. Also, walking around observing conditions in the facility.
- Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning.
- Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.
- No makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish or artificial fingernails may be worn in the manufacturing environment.
- Will work in a cold, wet environment.
- Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends.

Estimated pay range dependent on experience: $70,000 - $100,000. The offered salary may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
