Job Description

We are looking for a React Native Software Engineer to join our product engineering team. This person will work closely with product designers and back-end engineers to build high-quality mobile applications used by our members, providers, & internal admins.

About the Product

Our mobile apps are all built using React Native, providing a seamless and engaging experience for our members. The backend stack uses full-stack TypeScript with the RedwoodJS framework. Our backend GraphQL API uses Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL for data persistence and integrates with a range of third-party APIs. The mobile apps interact with the backend through GraphQL, ensuring efficient and secure data communication.

Requirements

Clear communicator and open collaborator
3+ years experience working with React Native
Deep experience with mobile app development and responsive design
Experience with the full mobile app development lifecycle, including deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude towards fixing issues
Ability to rapidly prototype & iterate in order to refine UI/UX
Comfortable working with non-technical team members and coming up with solutions (we want to collaborate, not dictate)
Nice to have: Experience with GraphQL, Figma, & Expo
