Responsibilities
Duties: Develop the application using Agile Methodology. Develop, document, unit-test, implement and deploy web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Develop application for the NCI-CTEP [National Cancer Institute Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program] to perform Clinical Trials utilizing Java, Hibernate/JPA and Spring REST Web Services along with the Kendo UI with jQuery and JavaScript. Develop, test, and deploy enterprise level multi-tier web applications using Object Oriented Concepts, J2EE,WebLogic application server, Oracle relational database. Utilize specialized knowledge and experience in JavaScript, jQuery with Kendo UI, Bootstrap, HTML and JSP technologies. Utilize Core Java concepts such as Reflection and Collections to make code generic and efficient. Develop database objects like packages/procedures/functions/triggers using a SQL Client tool to support application features. Understand and implement additional frameworks like Spring Batch, Spring MVC in the application. Utilize specialized knowledge of Atlassian tools to support Project Development activities in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development environment.
Qualifications
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or closely related highly specialized software development and web application technologies with 1 year post-baccalaureate experience in the field of Java development. Experience to include: Java v1.8 and Higher; advanced Java Frameworks - Struts, Spring; RDBMS - Oracle 19c; JavaScript Frameworks; Tools - Atlassian, Weblogic. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or closely related highly specialized software development and web application technologies with 5 year post-baccalaureate experience in the field of Java development. Experience to include: Java v1.8 and Higher; advanced Java Frameworks - Struts, Spring; RDBMS - Oracle 19c; JavaScript Frameworks; Tools - Atlassian, Weblogic.
