Position Title: Containerboard Safety Data Analyst Pay Rate: $81,700 - $108,900 Category/Shift: Salaried Full-Time The Job You Will Perform: The Containerboard Safety Data Analyst position will report to the Containerboard Business Health & Safety Manager and is based in Memphis. This position will support IPs performance goals by helping Containerboard Mill operations achieve Health & Safety goals including immediate and sustained improvement in reducing Serious Injuries & Fatatlities (SIF). The successful candidate will: Develop or modify processes for identifying, tracking and reporting SIF and SIF potential incidents and the corrective action mitigation; analyze SIF and SIF potential for trends and themes to learn from and improve safety performance Partner with HSE Data Analysts and IT organization as required to accomplish objectives Build relationships with Mill H&S teams, HSE COE and Technology Automate and maintain weekly reporting systems, generate data analysis and reports as needed Learn and become proficient in safety data analysis for improving safety performance Deploy solutions and/or tools to mills that improve data collection or execution of safety objectives (checklists, forms, etc) Manage small projects and support project teams related to safety The Skills You Will Bring: 3+ years of data analysis Degree in a related field Working understanding databases and reporting tools configuration Proficiency or capability to learn Power BI, MS Forms and other IP utilized business productivity applications Commitment to safety culture and continuous improvement Customer Focus, Action Oriented, Interpersonal Skills, Team Player, Dealing with Ambiguity, Time Management and Organizational Skills The Career You Will Build: The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in this position that prepares the individual for advancing roles in using technology to accomplish critical business objectives or Health, Safety and Environmental positions.
