JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking an Analytics/Production Analyst with 0-2 years of commercial real estate experience; Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Multifamily or prior GSE trading desk experience considered a plus. The Analyst's primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day financial and market analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to be thoroughly educated about the pricing and origination of multifamily mortgages, to gain an extensive understanding of the firm's top clients, and to interact with members of the Multifamily Management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Serves as primary point for transactional data collection and reconciliation
- Analyzes trends and recognizes outliers while combing through large sets of financial data
- Assists in the creation and management of regular departmental Excel-based reports prepared for senior management
- Collaborates with internal employees and external clients on time-sensitive requests
- Supports senior team members with generating financial market commentary as needed
CORE COMPETENCIES: - Highly developed analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with financial markets and macroeconomic research
- Proficient in all Microsoft products - strong Excel skills are critical
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and complete multiple tasks on schedule
- Ability to communicate effectively internally or externally
- Strong work ethic and pro-active team player with ability to work effectively under a time sensitive environment
ResponsibilitiesSKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: - BS / master's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or other related fields
- Highly developed analytical, research and written oral presentation skills
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to organize & prioritize projects, complete multiple tasks on schedule
- Ability to work productively under minimal supervision
- Must be proficient In Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Strong work ethic and pro-active team player able to work effectively under sometimes stressful conditions
- Ability to travel a minimum of 0-10%

Salary Range: $85,000-$90,000
