As part of our team, you will: Work with members of our team to create innovative solutions in the areas where sensing and localization intersect based on cutting edge environmental sensing and localization fusion assets. Evaluate HW/SW performance using real or simulated data Build prototype systems to demonstrate research innovations Design and run experiments to create data and to utilize that data to create new ML models We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Sensing and Localization Machine Learning Research Intern, who can design innovative experiences and features for our research projects. You communicate well, can think out of the box, always keep an eye on delivering high-quality work, and can thrive in a highly dynamic environment. You have: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, vision, and designs Possess good knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning methods, data science, and data visualization Good with Python Experience with tools/frameworks like Tensorflow/PyTorch, Pandas, etc. Be hands-on and able to take the initiative, including the ability to design and set up experiments (or data collection), execute and analyze the results Minimum GPA 3.5 It would be nice if you also had: Possess knowledge/experience with IoT (sensors, etc) Experience in sensing modalities (e.g. acoustics, Bluetooth, camera-based) Some knowledge of (indoor) localization techniques Embedded development: C/C++, publish and subscribe messaging Edge/embedded ML Come create the technology that helps the world act together Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
