Job description
Within a global team of 35 people across 4 offices, you will support Investments Directors and Associates within the Food team and throughout the entire investment lifecycle on the following:
- Sourcing dealflow: developing relationships with entrepreneurs, intermediaries et co-investors in the US, proactive identification of potential investment targets and new market themes/segments presenting a strong potential, challenge et selection of inbound opportunities;
- Execution of direct investments: market studies and screenings of competitive landscape, challenge business plans, valuation, assessment of management teams, coordination of third parties, negotiation with management and third parties (lawyers, strategy consulting, bankers, etc.);
- Active support of portoflio companies: reporting, boards attendance, support on strategic and operational topics (recruitment, build-ups, international expansion, etc.)
- Creadev’s ecosystem: connect with Creadev’s offices to gather best practices and insights from other portfolio companies and office, in particular with the HQ in Paris
Preferred experience
- Excellent academic background with business and/or engineering masters degree
- At least 1 years of past experience in Venture Capital or Private Equity
- Strong financial knowledge and keen interest for venture capital and entrepreneurship;
- Demonstrated interest for innovation within Food, Agtech and Impact;
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellence in English (speaking and writing);
- Knowledge of French highly preferred
- Full authorization to work in the US required
