Hello! We are looking for an illustrator with a specific style. When you apply, please send direct links to portfolio pieces that match our desired style.

We’re creating a customizable “love book” that allows anyone to create personalized characters, and then create a book for a loved one that has those characters in several scenes (e.g. cooking together, riding their bikes, having a picnic, etc.). We’re looking for someone to a) create dozens of illustrated elements for our custom character creator, and b) create hundreds of simple scenes to play these characters in.

We’re looking for full-time contract work for ~3 months and we hope to work with you on a long-term basis as we expand our product line.

The style we’re looking for is a charming, cute (but not too cute), children’s book style, naive, charming, with simple lines and slight realism. Open to light watercolour. See the attachments for examples.
