Job Overview The Data Operations Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing operations by providing data-driven insights to optimize production scheduling and on-time delivery. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP, this role focuses on plant performance metrics, capacity management, and process improvements. Responsibilities include managing contract data, producing executive-level reports, conducting training, and coordinating across teams to drive efficiency and productivity. Key Job Responsibilities Provide analytical insights to the operations leadership team on machine forecasts, capacity, on-time delivery, and the impact of schedule adjustments. Act as an SME in SAP, analyzing plant performance metrics, addressing system conflicts, and aligning with strategic initiatives. Schedule heat treating and generate work instructions for heat treating recipes, ensuring alignment with production needs. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and training materials for cost and performance analytics using SAP data. Work with maintenance teams on preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling to support optimal machine performance. Manage and update capacity metrics, ensuring adherence to on-time delivery targets. Review daily KPI metrics, populate performance boards, and update Teams files with the latest production data. Regularly review production orders and update schedules to reflect capacity needs. Monitor Kronos for current activities, generating and analyzing reports as necessary. Review aged Work-in-Progress (WIP) orders, driving their completion to maintain workflow efficiency. Maintain SharePoint sites relevant to Contract Management and support leadership with trends and performance analysis. Create executive-level presentations on business metrics, dashboards, and trends for strategic reviews. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Expert-level proficiency in SAP, including experience in reporting and analysis for manufacturing and operations. Advanced Excel skills with expertise in data visualization, charting, and graphing. Experience in managing production capacity, on-time delivery metrics, and heat treat scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills for preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling and KPI tracking. Ability to develop and deliver training materials for SAP utilization and operational processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing SharePoint content for department-level resources and updates. Knowledge of data visualization software to create dashboards and analytical reports for strategic analysis. Experience with vendor relations and project deliverables requiring confidentiality.
