This one-year Software Developer Internship provides an opportunity to develop technology and client service skills at a world class investment management firm. Key areas of technical focus will include application support and development, business analysis, requirements definition and project coordination. As a Software Developer Intern on the Sales, Marketing and Distribution Application team, your responsibilities will be diverse and commensurate with demonstrated proficiency and experience. The time commitment for the internship will be between 10 – 20 hours per week with the expectation of a full-time schedule during the summer.
Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to:
- Assist with development and maintenance of custom built applications
- Support and help troubleshoot current application codebases
- Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned with demonstrated proficiency
Qualifications
The successful candidate is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical field with demonstrated academic achievement. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

- Familiarity with some of the following technologies:
- AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, among others
- Object oriented languages such as Java or C#. Spring Framework knowledge a plus
- Collaboration software like Slack, Confluence, among others
- Microsoft SQL, DynamoDB
- Scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Web technologies: JavaScript/Frameworks, Node.js, among others
