A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.
Determines systems software design requirements.
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.
Skills:
Robust and in-depth knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Handson experience of developing dynamic, highly interactive user interfaces for the web/mobile view.
Ability to manage and interface with APIs and RESTful web services.
Ability to design and develop high performance, production quality code and perform unit testing.
Ability to collaborate closely with other software engineers across the organization in onshore/offshore environment.
Experience with using Jira.
Experience with Git, Bitbucket.
Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycles, version control and traceability.
Ability to stay up to date on relevant technology and process advancements.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or technology with 0+ years of relevant experience
Nice to Have:
Experience with AWS S3, AWS ECS, AWS Dynamo DB, AWS Lambda, API Gateway.
Knowledge in REST API development, microservices using sprint boot.
Knowledge in software architecture patterns.
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$74,400.00 - $111,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
