What we are looking for:
We are now looking to hire a Platform Engineer for our LA office to support us in enhancing our platform to make it more efficient and scalable, whilst supporting the rapid innovation happening within our Engineering, Film, and Science teams. As a Platform Engineer, you’ll be spending the majority of your time working with our VFX, Production, and Science teams in LA to ensure they have the appropriate tools and infrastructure available to them. Furthermore, this Platform Engineer will work with the wider Platform Engineering and Engineering functions to contribute to the future architecture, design, and tooling within Flawless. We’re embarking on a big project to improve our platform’s scalability, efficiency and security so as a Platform Engineer, your work will be very varied whilst working on the latest tools and technology.
Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of experience building and supporting infrastructure and services in AWS.
- Experience building software and writing code to automate processes.
- Familiarity with IaC such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- 2 - 4 Years of experience with Containerization and Container Orchestration
- Experience working with and maintaining Linux servers.
- Experience building and working on CICD pipelines (we use Github Actions)
- Exposure or understanding of using configuration management tooling.
- Understanding of observability tooling and SRE principles.
