About the Team:
The Merchandising team is always on top of the latest trends—using data, research, exceptional taste and expert analytical skills to ensure we’ve got the right product in the right places at the right time. They work closely with partners in Production, E-commerce and Retail to forecast, plan and manage our inventory—ensuring we delight our customers with products they love. The Visual Merchandiser is an individual contributor role and will report into the Visual Merchandising Manager.
About the Role:
As a Visual Merchandiser at Rothy’s, you will play a crucial role in bringing our brand’s aesthetic to life across all retail locations. Collaborating closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager, you will lead the set-up for monthly mock-store walkthroughs, ensuring our visual displays are always top-notch. Your responsibilities will include compiling comprehensive monthly Visual Merchandising directives, managing display products and samples, and maintaining the Visual Merchandising Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for our retail teams. You will work cross-functionally with Retail Operations and Merchandising teams, providing essential training tools and videos. Communication is key, as you’ll own Zipline posts and regularly review store photos to provide feedback and ensure consistency. You will also conduct competitive market analysis to inspire our visual strategies and support new store setups. Your creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills will be essential in continuously improving our visual merchandising standards and strategies. What you’ll do:
- Partner with Visual Merchandising Manager to set-up monthly mock-store leadership walk-throughs
- Support Visual Merchandising Manager with compiling comprehensive monthly Visual Merchandising directives
- Manage Visual Merchandising display products and samples, both in mock-store and storage
- Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams, specifically Retail Operations and Merchandising teams
- Manage and maintain Visual Merchandising SOP for retail teams
- Provide Visual Merchandising training tools and videos for retail teams
- Own Zipline communication posts with Retail Operations team and stores
- Review photos of our stores and provide feedback and directions to ensure that the visual merchandising and window displays are top-notch in all Rothy’s stores. Keep in touch with regional teams often to do this
- Provide help and support to problem-solve visual issues as needed
- Collect and compile Visual Merchandising hindsights, photos and notes to capture successes and opportunities. Share this with business partners, merch, retail ops and visual teams
- Work collaboratively with Visual Merchandising Manager to continuingly improve visual merchandising layouts, standards, strategies, communications and ideas and pickling up ad hoc Visual Merchandising and procurement tasks as needed
- In the market, conduct competitive analysis by shopping the street/center to gather window inspiration and ideas to share back with the Visual Merchandising Team
- Collaborate with the New Store Opening (NSO) / Retail Operations team when needed for setting up new stores
- Support with any Visual Merchandising related store orders and allocations
- Update store digital screens monthly

- A visually creative eye, and ability to set and style a store
- A deep understanding of the Rothy’s Brand aesthetic
- The ability to travel as needed for New Store Opening (NSO) set-up and other business needs

Pay range:
$82,000 - $96,000 annually
Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
