Importance of the Role
As a key member of Matic’s Learning & Development Team, this role is crucial in shaping new hires’ first impressions and supporting their growth through world-class training. The trainer will facilitate new hire programs, contribute to ongoing development efforts, and create resources to enhance the success of all Agency staff members. Additionally, this position plays an integral part in implementing the overall learning and development strategy for the entire Agency.
What You’ll Do
- Learn and facilitate engaging new hire and continuing education training for all roles across the agency, including sales, service and retention teams
- Partner with operations and agency leadership to develop ongoing training opportunities that encourage continuous learning and growth
- Assist with development of training materials and learner resources, for both virtual and in-person training needs
- Track, monitor and communicate progress, opportunities and next steps for all learners within their learning space
- Ability to learn and grasp new concepts, systems and processes quickly, and then train and execute knowledge transfer effectively
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships across all cross-functional departments
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
What You Offer
- Must be located on-site, and able to be in the office full-time during training classes
- Minimum 1 yr experience with personal lines insurance
- Ability to lead and thrive with limited resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong, determined and positive personality
- Adaptable to ever-changing needs
- Minimum 1 yr experience in a call center environment
- Able to manage time and workload effectively
