FIGS is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to be based in Arizona and work at our beautiful, new, state of the art DC. As a member of the Quality Assurance team you will be helping ensure that everything we make for our Awesome Humans is always the best quality. Our ideal candidate has apparel product knowledge, a solid base of quality, construction and understanding of Technical Design Packages. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally and build relationships is critical. The role will report to the DCQA Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Inspect incoming products validating quality received is as expected.
- Communicate and clarify critical construction details of a style to any audience: DCQA Inspectors, Figs Field Quality Teams, Vendors and HQ teammates.
- Train QA Auditors on Measuring, Construction and Visual Defect Analysis. This training could be on different shifts or require global travel for periods of time.
- Plan workload to maintain current quality certifications, also plan for periodic correlation training and auditing of new DCQA Inspectors.
- Assist DCQA Manager with training of workload, PP’s and project status to ensure DC throughput KPI’s are maintained.
- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years experience working in a retail related industry.
- Solid knowledge base of quality, construction and understanding of Technical Design Packages. Able to train and communicate necessary information to determine if production shipments meet Figs’ high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening skills.
- Must be able to read/interpret garment Technical Packages and demonstrate successful application of that knowledge into an assessment of shipment quality.
- Must be able to successfully train team mates to clearly understand quality, construction and fit standards.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex projects and tasks with sensitive deadlines.
- Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and levels of training for team mates on multiple shifts or facilities.
- Ability to read, review and interpret Tech Packs; able to communicate findings to Suppliers, Field Quality teammates and internal contacts in response to queries.
- Proficiency with a variety of computer software program applications within Google, Centric PLM, Net Suite, database programs and others as added.
- Pass Color Blindness and How to Measure Testing exams.
- In person 5 days per week at our warehouse in Goodyear, AZ

Pay Range
- At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role’s base salary range is between $51,800 and $74,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
