We are hiring a GIS Developer/Analyst II to join our team in any of our AMT offices or Remotely.

Responsibilities
- GIS Application Development: Design, develop and maintain GIS applications, tools, and workflows to support various survey project needs (construction, permitting, and delineations). Develop web-based GIS applications and mapping portals using FieldMaps, Quick Capture, Survey123, Dashboards, and Experiences.
- Map and Data Analyzation: Create, digitize and update the GIS layers, datasets and any related metadata. Preform spatial data analysis, data entry, map production, and data conversion for engineers. Perform data conversions to Bently, CAD, and KMZ files. Digitize data from field staff, architects, and engineers.
- GIS Automation and Scripting: Develop custom scripts, tools, and automation workflows to streamline GIS tasks and processes. Use scripting languages such as Python or Java to automate data processing, analysis, and map production tasks.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of GIS applications and data. Conduct testing and validation of GIS software, tools, and custom developments to meet industry standards and user requirements.
- Documentation and Training: Document GIS applications, tools, and workflows, including user manuals, technical specifications, and code documentation. Provide training and support to users on GIS applications and tools, ensuring effective utilization and adoption across the organization.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including GIS analysts, engineers, and project managers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Participate in meetings with teams to provide subject matter expertise and feedback.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in GIS development and civil engineering. Pursue continuous learning and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in GIS software development and engineering domains
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in ArcMap, ArcPro, and common associated add-ins/extensions. ArcPro preferred.
- Some experience with GPS systems such as Trimble, Leica, or other GNSS receivers.
- Some experience with Regulatory, Permitting, Compliance, Transportation or Civil Engineering preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience developing low-code applications using WebApp Builder and Experience Builder
- Administration and management of GIS web platforms: ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online.
- At least 3 years of experience using field collection apps such as Survey123, FieldMaps, and QuickCapture.
- Some experience with Python, Arcade, JavaScript, or SQL
