This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and new supplier identification both domestically and internationally. Strong communication skills are required as the liaison between the technical staff, suppliers, and company management. Must have ability to effectively deal with and resolve time sensitive supply chain issues and expedite orders to achieve customer satisfaction and assigned lead time targets.

What You’ll Do:
• Create and monitor partsroom associates daily tasks to ensure all orders are processed according to priority and delivery requirements, and that all pertinent information is entered into the Work Order and Purchasing systems as required.
• Interface with Operations as required to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Confer with engineering, purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability.
• Coordinate changing delivery and priority requirements as necessary.
• Audit open orders to ensure accuracy of information, timeliness of processing, and compliance to company measurables.
• Help plan and facilitate inventory audits and/or cycle counts.
What We Need From You:
• This candidate must have previous experience.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to multitask.
• 2-3 years of Industrial Purchasing experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills-ability to speak clearly, confidently, and professionally on the telephone and the ability to write clear and succinctly through email communication.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work alone and in teams to effectively manage the Purchasing process
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
