ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced full-stack engineer who thrives in an autonomous environment with high ownership and enjoys tackling customer-facing product challenges. This role will report directly to the CTO and work closely with our product team to collaborate on requirements and be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of the product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to define and implement the technical roadmap
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
- Build and optimize our back end services and APIs
- Create responsive, dynamic front end interfaces
- Manage and optimize our Postgres database
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Contribute to mobile app development using Capacitor (bonus)
Technical Requirements:
- Backend: Experience with Python and FastAPI, or similar frameworks like Django, Flask, etc.
- Frontend: Experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) using frameworks like Svelte, React, Vue, etc.
- Database: Proficient with SQL and experience working with Postgres or similar relational databases
- Mobile Development (Bonus): Experience with Capacitor or similar mobile app development frameworks
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
- Experience working at a startup and/or in healthcare previously (Bonus)
