ABOUT THE POSITION:The Finance Analyst I Fellow participates in a structured on-the-job training program designed to provide the participant with the necessary skills and knowledge in the field of Investments for preparation into an entry-level Investment position.
Positions allocable to this class typically report to an assigned supervisor and/or mentor and receive on-the-job training inclusive of both theoretical understanding and practical application. The Finance Analyst I Fellow participates in a 12-to-24-month training program. Incumbents are expected to develop and demonstrate progressively increasing skills and independence of action as they gain experience and proficiency in the field of Investments.
VACANCYINFORMATION:This is a county temporary position of limited duration. Incumbents participate in a two-year program. The vacancy is in the Investments Division.
Work Schedule: This full-time temporary position is required to work a 5/40 schedule (e.g. an eight (8) hour day, Monday through Friday) for at least the first twelve (12) months of employment. The Investment Office currently works a hybrid work model with all staff members in the office two (2) days per week (generally Monday and Wednesday) and the third Thursday of every month, and as organizational needs warrant. LACERA may revise the hybrid work model at its discretion, as circumstances warrant.
