The Financial Data Analyst is primarily responsible for the construction, analysis, integration and integrity of financial and other data sets that inform the functional areas of the Foundation to meet departmental objectives, drive informed decisions and enhance efficiency. This cross-functional team member is recognized as an innovator in the creation of useful, timely and accurate information. This position requires supporting change and active, self-directed learning. The position may also aid and support the management of day-to-day financial operations. Requirements Gather and analyze financial and market data from various sourcesAssist with financial modeling, including projects and trend analysisIntegrate data into existing reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI) and implement additional reporting tools, as identifiedCompile adhoc reports for functional teamsEstablish and maintain systems for centralized circulation of regular reportsWork in consultation with the Finance Team to ensure efficient system integration and functionality for reportingEvaluate data integrity and suggest modifications, as identifiedCompile and distill information for presentation and reportsWork with the IT and Finance functions to establish and maintain data governance and securityOther duties as assigned by the CEO, President or CFOWork Experience RequirementsBachelor of Science in Finance, Analytics, or similar3+ years of relevant experience in data management, governance, analysis and modelingPreference for experience in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI)Professional and maintains a high standard for world-class impressionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHandles confidential information with absolute discretionDetail-oriented and solid organization skills, yet flexibleFlexible and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and timelyService-oriented and team-orientedEnjoys and actively participates in a fast-paced environmentHighly proficient in Microsoft OfficeSpiritual CriteriaProfesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.Pursues personal spiritual growth and connection within a local church.Red Envelope Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
