We’re looking for an amazing Performance Analytics Analyst to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Seattle office. In this critical role you’ll leverage data-driven insights to build predictive models, develop customer segmentation frameworks, and support targeted marketing efforts onboard our ships. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing A/B tests, evaluating targeted marketing performance, and providing actionable insights to enhance the guest experience optimize onboard revenue growth. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance guest engagement and business outcomes by integrating analytics into decision-making processes. To be successful, you’ll demonstrate technical proficiency, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Performance Analytics Analyst. Is this you? Responsibilities Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze customer data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for segmentation, targeting, and campaign optimization. Interpret data trends and patterns to provide meaningful recommendations for improving onboard revenue or guest commerce. Collaboration with Business Stakeholders: Collaborate with teams across the organization, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to integrate business ideas with data insights. Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. Beta Testing and Validation: Evaluate the performance of targeted marketing campaigns, including ROI, conversion rates, and customer engagement metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement. Design and execute A/B tests for different marketing strategies (e.g., email, digital ads, etc.) to assess performance, optimize conversion rates, and improve targeting efforts. Communication and Documentation: Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure a shared understanding of analytical results and recommendations. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the analytics function. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business strategy. Proactively suggest improvements to existing analytical processes and methodologies. Analytics Project Management: Drive analytics efforts across multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights. Take ownership of projects related to onboard revenue or guest commerce and coordinate with team members for successful project execution. Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business/Finance Engineering or Math , Data Science or Business Analytics preferred. 2+ years of experience (1+ full time) with data analysis and deep analytics. Experience working on multidisciplinary teams in large corporations is required. Experience working with building models. 1+ years in the Cruise or Hospitality industry preferred. Preferred experience developing prototypes or working with scrum teams to develop analytically driven solutions in the cruise or hospitality industry. Minimum 2+ years of experience using SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI. Knowledge of statistical foundations to properly analyse large amounts of data in a cohesive way. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and analyse business processes, metrics, and KPIs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multi-tasking and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize and focus on outcomes that drive action plans. Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Proven capacity to deal with failure in a positive way. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and marketing attribution. A/B testing experience for different marketing strategies (e.g., email, digital ads, etc.) to assess performance, optimize conversion rates, and improve targeting efforts. Coding experience preferred. Python or R are a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
