Tree of Life Foundation International – Tree of Life Resource Center location

Front Desk Associate Opening

The Front Desk person will be the first exposure that the general public will experience at The Tree of Life Resource Center. They will work with the public, donors and appropriate Tree of Life Foundation International staff to help those in need and increase awareness of the Resource Center. This position reports to the Director of the Tree of Life Resource Center.

Demonstrate high energy level and flexibility, pleasant persona coupled with sound judgement. Needs to be flexible, discreet and able to maintain confidential information with the knowledge of correct protocol for specific situations. The ability to work well independently, and possess excellent communication, organizational and thinking skills. Will be cross-trained in all aspects of the Tree of Life Resource Center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Check-in clients/Make Appointments/Customer Service
Software management/Data input
Organize and maintain paperwork
Motivated to make a positive impact on the community
Is comfortable making and answering phone calls
Work closely with volunteers and interns
Perform other appropriate duties as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with all levels of staff, volunteers, donors, interns and

the general public

Ability to handle a diverse workload, with a high degree of flexibility
Detail oriented, well spoken
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Bilingual in Spanish and/or Creole strongly preferred

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
