We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our design team at a leading cannabis technology brand. As a member of our team you will be responsible for crafting the future of our brand. Responsibilities:

Packaging (Adobe Illustrator)
Product design
Digital and print ads
Email and social ads
Catalogs (Adobe InDesign)
Brochures
Trade Show Graphics
Presentations
Working closely with Creative Director and the rest of our growing company to ensure that designs are properly communicated and implemented

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a graphic designer in marketing or advertising
Ability to create incredible vector artwork
Deliver consistent design assets that support strategic goals and branding
Ability to organize projects efficiently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, start-up environment – have we mentioned yet that we move quickly here?
Strong communication skills – in writing, verbally and through presentations
Design portfolio demonstrating a range of branding, typography, color theory and composition skills
Experience owning a wide variety of print projects from concept through production
Experience working with packaging and display dielines
An understanding of what makes great packaging a magical experience and not just a pretty box
Thorough knowledge of what comprises an inspiring brand and ability to communicate that visually
Ability to set up files of various types and formats for final print production
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, After Effects in particular)
Proficiency with Keynote or similar software
Ability to deliver solid designs on a tight deadline
Expert eye for detail and consistency; no detail is too small or insignificant
Comfortable with an iterative design process that includes accepting and managing feedback and constructive criticism
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Excellent collaboration skills

Preferred:

Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and techniques
Knowledge of and experience using Figma
Experience conducting press checks with printers
Experience crafting and formatting marketing emails and social posts
Experience in photography editing
Experience developing brand style guides
Animation experience
Tech forward design style
