ABOUT HOLLYWOOD CINEMA PRODUCTION RESOURCES

Hollywood Cinema Production Resources (Hollywood CPR) is a nonprofit organization providing

individuals from historically underrepresented groups with training, hands-on experience, and a pathway to union membership in below-the-line crafts such as set dressing, camera, stagecraft,

set lighting, set painting, sound, grip, editing, and costuming. Hollywood CPR’s graduates gain

the skills and network necessary to attain fulfilling careers in the entertainment industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Program Coordinator at Hollywood CPR is responsible for

supporting the administration and coordination of our training programs. This role involves

working closely with participants, instructors, and community partners to ensure the smooth

operation of all program activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and

passionate about creating pathways into the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Administration:

Coordinate and manage the daily operations of traineeship programs.
Support Executive director in conversations with studios/productions/colleges to identify paid and unpaid trainee needs and provide recommendations for candidates.
Maintain accurate records of program participants, schedules, and progress.
Assist in the development and editing of program materials, including handbooks, schedules, and promotional content.
Work with partner community colleges to troubleshoot issues.
Help coordinate placement of industry professionals for classroom instruction.

Participant Support:

Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, addressing inquiries and providing guidance.
Monitor participant progress and provide support to ensure successful completion of the program and portfolios.
Event Coordination:
Plan and support organization of program-related events, including orientations, workshops, and graduation ceremonies.
Coordinate tours and industry exposure activities with partners.

Partnership Management:

Maintain and strengthen relationships with community partners, high school partners and others.
Collaborate with partners to identify and address additional needs of program participants.
Educational Programming Support:
Gather and analyze feedback from participants to inform educational improvements.

Data Management and Reporting:

Collect and analyze data on program outcomes and participant progress, as needed for funders and grant reports.
Prepare regular reports for the Executive Director and board on program performance and impact.

Communications:

Work with the Hollywood CPR team to develop and distribute regular updates to participants, alumni, and partners aligned with the larger communications strategy.
Support providing images and program-related social media content to boost online presence.

General Support:

Provide administrative support to the Executive Director as needed.
Help with meeting minutes notes.
Assist in grant writing, putting together data points and fundraising efforts related to the program.

RANGE:

$50,000-75,000 depending on experience.

LOCATION AND HOURS:

This position will be based in the Los Angeles office with hours from Monday - Friday 9a-5p.
