What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve: AI : Expertise in the design and development of machine learning and deep learning models for computer vision, with applications in real-time image guidance for medical robotics. Candidates should be knowledgeable in ML algorithms and advanced deep learning architectures including transformers, CNNs, GANs etc with experience in image classification, object detection (such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN), and related backbone architectures like ResNet and UNet.Vision and Imaging AI Solutions Development[CH1] : Work closely with software developers, cloud and machine learning engineers, and product teams to create and test AI solutions for medical imaging applications.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical experts and product managers to understand healthcare needs and provide AI-driven insights and recommendations.Technical Execution: Develop machine learning strategies for tasks like segmentation, detection, classification, and image enhancement in medical imaging. Requires knowledge and experience the entire model life cycle from data preprocessing and model training to deployment.Communication and Documentation: Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of AI processes, methodologies, and strategies to facilitate team alignment and knowledge sharing. Skilled in communicating and presenting technical results to AI team members and other teams. Research and Emerging Trends: Staying updated on current ML research and trends, unsupervised/self-supervise learning and privacy-preserving ML, to drive innovation. Evaluate cutting edge ML algorithms from open-source projects to improve model performance.Ethical AI: Aware of the ethical implications of AI and knowledge of techniques to mitigate bias and build fair models in ML applications. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. WORK ENVIRONMENTWe’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
