If you’re eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment and further develop your technical abilities, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Assists with cleaning, transforming, and validating raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for analysis or storageSupports the development, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data pipelines and processes to ensure successful task completionHelps manage the data warehouse by running queries, updating tables, and validating data for accuracy and reliabilityCreates and maintains documentation for data processes, solutions, and issues, improving team knowledge-sharing and transparencyCollaborates with data engineers and analysts on ongoing projects, actively participating in team meetings and contributing to assigned tasksSupports testing, debugging, and issue resolution for data processes and scripts, documenting problems and applying fixesProactively engages in learning new tools, technologies, and data engineering concepts to develop technical skills and contribute effectivelyQualifications:Must be a USU student pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, data engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year remaining in schoolMust be able to work 15-20 hour per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer breaksBasic understanding of software development concepts, including scripting skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesEagerness to learn new tools and technologiesMust be US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US personStudent Scholar Program: SDL provides unique opportunities for student employees, such as hands-on experience and our Student Scholar program.
