Receives training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGather data from a variety of sources to gain insight into business strategies and market trends.Transform data into suitable formats for analysis that can be presented to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff.Conduct exploratory data analyses using statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights.Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.Conduct data review to ensure data accuracy. Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and provide recommendations that may lead to actionable business insights. Assist in creating reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance. Collaborate with team members to help identify continuous improvement opportunities for selected projects.Provide data-driven recommendations that help drive strategic decisionsKeep informed on data analysis methods and industry trends.RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPossess strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Ability to understand and follow instructions, which are occasionally complex and detailed technical instructions.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Possess intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as required depending on use within assigned department.Ability to effectively utilize department related, specific software typically taught within degree specific courses, (i.e., CRM, SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, HRIS, etc.)Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMust be entering into Sophomore, Junior, Senior year of college at an accredited universityCompletion of related coursework for assigned department or function to successfully complete assigned projects or tasks.
