Job Summary: This position will work to maintain and advance the College’s assessment analytical capabilities and to support the department’s data analysis capacity and continuous improvement activities. The assessment data analyst will interface regularly with the College’s learning management system, members of the CDS team, and various college departments/functions in order to respond to current and future data requests. This position is responsible developing and modifying student learning data dashboards, applying research designs to conduct queries and analysis, and supporting/maintaining the data strategy for learning data. This position is expected to communicate regarding existing reports and to create, as need, new reports intended for use by faculty, programs, divisions, and senior leadership with limited oversight from the Director of Assessment. Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university in the field of evaluation, assessment, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or similar technical or education field Previous work experience with R or Python or other programming language Basic SQL ability to query tables Previous work experience producing high-quality data visualizations Preferred Qualifications: Experience interfacing with an ERP system. Experience with learning data or instructional design.
