Key Responsibilities
- Design and Creation: Develop engaging and professional broadcast graphics, overlays, and animations that enhance live sports coverage.
- Brand Integration: Work with clients to create custom-branded broadcast themes, ensuring brand consistency and unique visual identities.
- Innovation: Collaborate with product and technology teams to design data-driven, automated graphics that integrate live stats, scores, and sponsorship elements.
- Collaboration: Partner with producers, editors, and developers to ensure seamless integration of graphics into live productions and highlight packages.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot design and production challenges in fast-paced live broadcast environments.
- Content Management: Organize and manage graphic assets, templates, and style guides for efficient production workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in broadcast design, preferably in sports production or live event broadcasting.
- Required: Proficiency in design and animation software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and design tools such as (e.g., Spline, Blender, Rive app, etc).
- Ideally strong understanding of live broadcast workflows, including real-time graphics systems (e.g., Vizrt, Chyron, Ross Xpression).
- Familiarity with sports data systems and integration (e.g., Opta, Sportradar, Genius Sports) is a plus.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
