Pantera Capital is the first institutional investment firm focused exclusively on bitcoin, other digital currencies, and companies in the blockchain tech ecosystem. Pantera launched the first cryptocurrency fund in the United States when bitcoin was at $65 /BTC in 2013. The firm subsequently launched the first exclusively-blockchain venture fund. In 2017, Pantera was the first firm to offer an early-stage token fund. Pantera manages $5.6bn across three strategies – passive, hedge, and venture – exclusively focused on bitcoin, other digital currencies, and companies in the blockchain tech ecosystem.
We are currently seeking to expand our Investor Relations team at our San Francisco office. This role will join a select group of 4-5 professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service and engagement to our growing investor community. Key responsibilities include promptly and accurately addressing investor inquiries and requests, actively participating in investor and prospective investor meetings, facilitating processing of capital activity, and collaborating closely with our marketing, finance, trading, compliance, legal and investment teams. This role will play an integral part in the due diligence process concerning both existing and potential investors.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of work experience in Investor Relations department
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. CAIA or CFA designation is a plus.
Previous experience in investor relations, client services, or related roles within the financial services industry, preferably with experience in hedge funds, venture funds or alternative investments.
Proven relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with investors, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Exceptional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent personnel, project management, and time management skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce, tech savvy
Attention to detail and concern for quantitative accuracy
Knowledgeable and passionate about blockchain/cryptocurrency technology a plus
Responsibilities:
Promptly and accurately address investor inquiries and requests.
Actively participate in investor and prospective investor calls, providing insightful information and guidance.
Facilitate seamless processing of capital activity, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Maintaining the firm’s CRM with investor information
Collaborate closely with the finance and marketing departments to ensure alignment in messaging and strategy.
Play an integral role in the due diligence process with both existing and prospective investors, providing comprehensive analysis and support.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness in all interactions with investors and stakeholders.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement and refinement of investor relations processes and procedures.
Represent Pantera Capital with integrity and professionalism in all external communications and engagements.

$125,000 - $150,000 USD
