What's the Opportunity?
The SAP HANA and Business Objects Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using SAP HANA and SAP Business Objects. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
What You’ll Do Here:
Design and Development:
- Develop SAP HANA calculation views and supporting repository object.
- Create and maintain SAP Business Objects reports and dashboards.
- Implement data models and data structures in SAP HANA.
Data Integration:
- Integrate data from various sources into SAP HANA.
- Develop ETL processes using SAP Data Services.
Performance Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries and data models for performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
Collaboration:
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Collaborate with other developers and IT teams to ensure seamless integration.
Documentation:
- Document technical specifications and design documents.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all development activities.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years directly related experience.
- Proven experience in SAP HANA modeling and development.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects tools such as Web Intelligence, IDT and SAC
- Extensive experience in developing Power BI dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and database development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Collaborative skills to discuss the requirements with business/analyst team.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
