Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and drive the development and deployment of innovative machine learning models. This role focuses on end-to-end model development, from data exploration and preparation to algorithm selection, model training, and performance evaluation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in machine learning algorithms and modeling, with hands-on experience in training various ML models and proficiency in Python.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve complex business challenges.
Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data wrangling to ensure high-quality inputs for models.
Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning algorithms based on project requirements and data characteristics.
Train, validate, and fine-tune models to achieve optimal performance.
Analyze and interpret model results, including error analysis, model improvement, and retraining as necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into business processes and applications.
Document model development processes and results for transparency and reproducibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field.
Proven experience in machine learning model development, with a focus on model training and evaluation.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, such as regression, classification, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets to drive insights for model optimization.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for model deployment (not MLOps focused).
Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical methods for model evaluation.
