As a Spring Co-op in Data Analytics within our Manufacturing department at Boehringer Ingelheim, you will have the opportunity to apply your data analysis skills in a real-world manufacturing setting. You will assist in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs through data-driven insights. This co-op will provide you with valuable experience in data analytics and exposure to the manufacturing sector. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming data for analysis Support the development and implementation of data models to optimize manufacturing processes. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can improve efficiency and reduce costs. Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in team meetings and contribute to data strategy discussions. Requirements Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing. Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship. Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred. Major or minor in related field of internship Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or University. Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university. Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Statistics, computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of data analysis tools and techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
