What you'll do Communicating technical concepts clearly and concisely to Engineering teams. Improve Documentation to conform with international safety standards and report issues to engineering teams and work with them on a solution. Participate in Functional Safety activities for safety conformity and compliance. Collaborate with project managers, development team and customers on Functional Safety. Participate in the design process and provide professional feedback to achieve of the safety goal. Participate in reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles. Role Requirements Personal vehicle to travel to multiple MA offices.What you'll needCurrently Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline. Experience with functional safety standards and regulations (preferred).Familiarity with development and quality process (FMEA/FTA methods/tools). Familiarity with several of the following specialties and a willingness to learn all of them: PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens) Robot (ABB) Software languages (SQL, Linux, Python) Embedded Systems Industry Standard Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence Practices. Excellent hands-on experience with assembling, operating and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems. A desire to learn new equipment and assist team members as needed. Able and willing to assist other team members with documentation efforts. Excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation communications skills. Our EnvironmentUp to 10% of travel may be required.
