JOB SUMMARY:To provide detailed information to sales and finance departments used to analyze current and future business performance.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Consolidate/create various reports concerning Orders and Sales.Reconciliation and analysis of data used to report on business activities. Flexibility in schedule is a necessity during times of peak reporting activities on a monthly and quarterly basisWork with multiple locations and other countries to acquire data to support reporting for the consolidated business area.Provide specialized reports on request to support business needs.Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be input into the financial reporting system (AARO).Work directly with the finance department and senior management to validate data and directly address related questions.Assist in troubleshooting for report issues and validation of data.Manage forecasting process for orders and facilitate consolidation for management and finance.Prepare and reconcile financial results for payment of sales-related compensation.Review accuracy of and provide approval for commissions due to external representative firms.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with Sales and Finance Management Teams.Meet reporting deadlines to ensure compliance to weekly/monthly reporting requirements for the business area. Develop and maintain reporting best practices that can be used for audit and training needs.Participate in the implementation of IFS (future ERP system) and develop reporting changes as a result of the new software platform. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Proven analytical capabilities, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently deliver resultsWillingness to learn business-specific Sales organizational structures to include market segments and classifications.Ability to learn and understand sales channels, market segments, and financial transactions with the ability to detail out reporting specifications and data testing to ensure reporting accuracy.Ability to learn and understand Glovia orders within contracts, sales orders and project modules to assist in troubleshooting and review of orders for accuracy, understanding of revenue recognition principles and credit/debit memo impacts.Ability to work with other departments with a high level of creativity in problem-solving is required. Multi-tasking skills are necessary.Responsible to participate in continuous improvement activities that streamline reporting processes throughout the organization.Ability to work with a variety of business tools and software programs used to manage and support reporting activity.Utmost in confidentiality required.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:College Degree or Equivalent Business Experience is desired (5-7 years).Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsHighly Advanced Excel Skills.Previous experience with an ERP system (3-5 years).Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.Ability to work with managers and team members on other cross-functional teams throughout the organization.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to perform sedentary work to light physical labor.
