Work involves partnering cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and governmental bodies to support informed decision making and ensure regulatory commitments. You will also serve as the subject matter expert for data extract and reporting processes to meet all department needs.ResponsibilitiesConsults with line staff to determine workflows and how those may affect data reportingAssists in developing data queries and definitions to assist with data reporting requirements for teamsUtilizes data systems to query large data sets, produce reports/presentations and dashboards; summarizes findings and presents data insights and recommendations in a clear and understandable format to stakeholdersPerforms data collection, cleaning and management; ensures data accuracy and integrityPerforms data analytics, analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and meaningful insightsActs as a liaison between IS & T and clinical teams; requests changes to EPIC for data collection and reporting to help meet contract requirementsAssists with external and internal audits related to contract and/or government complianceReviews recent changes to contracts, policies and laws and incorporates needed changes to internal processes and proceduresProvides training/guidance to employees on data collecting and reportingProvides subject matter expertise and counsel on various federal/state/contract regulatory mattersRequirementsBachelor’s degree in a clinical, business or IT related field or commensurate work experience requiredTwo (2) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or similar platformsWorking experience with EPIC, governmental contracts and regulationsIf assigned to a clinical CBU, a clinical background is preferredOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $75,941.00 - $109,262.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
