What You Will Do
In this role you will be a key part of the team and responsible for Palm’s engineering output and serve as a key technical partner across the team. You will leverage modern frameworks, well placed 3rd party tools and your own expertise as a developer to drive high output across the entire Palm Team. Both leading others and contributing yourself.
Palm leverages LLMs to synthesize public and private information, an API driven backend for Partners & Merchants, while delivering services for Merchants through a REACT front end. We plan to roll out additional semantic AI and AI enabled tools to help Merchants syndicate their data where needed, so experience working with AI is ideal.

- You're excited to push the limits of what LLMs and new models can do, and see them used to create real value.
- You're familiar with the tradeoffs between building for speed and building for scale.
- You thrive in ambiguity, where you can define your own requirements, run tests, and drive outcomes.
- You’re a strong communicator, that’s used to working in remote and hybrid/remote teams.
- You're a self-starter who's motivated by shipping product and having an impact on users.
- You've worked on data-intensive products and/or have built products that integrate many channels of customer communications (text, email, calls, etc.).
- You’re a full stack/back-end focused engineer that is comfortable making architectural decisions and setting/managing up data infrastructure.
- You are familiar with Node.js, JavaScript, Next.js, React, Python, and Google Cloud Infrastructure
- You are excited about the opportunity to be a player/coach in a small team setting
