One Piece Card Operator - 3rd Shift (Sunday-Friday 10pm -6am) 15% shift differential plus $1000 sign on bonus! The One Piece Card Operator will report to the shift Production Supervisor and will set up and run a One-Piece machine. The One Piece Card Operator will identify, troubleshoot, and correct machine-related problems by adjusting various settings or parts of the machine. Responsibilities Ensure the correct product is running (stock card, custom card, correct blister). Ensure the correct boxes and item box labels are being used. Complete appropriate documentation (QC check sheet, daily time sheet). Visually inspect materials before running on machine. Basic machine operation to include set up, clean up, inspection, troubleshooting and decision making. Start machines and notify supervisor to adjust machine settings for optimum performance. Observe operation of machine to detect and correct machine malfunctions such as forming and appropriate seal. Inspect ongoing workflow to detect defects and verify conformance to work orders and adjust machinery as necessary to correct production problems. Move finished goods to release area. Support Corporate Programs such as 5S, ISO, SMED, Preventive Maintenance, Sustainability, and GMP. Other tasks as assigned Required Knowledge and Skills Ability to read, understand, and follow schedule, written instructions, and job ticket requirements. Ability to work both independently and with limited supervision. Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude. Job requires being careful about detail and being thorough in completing work tasks. Have ability to see details at close range to check for defects or other quality issues. Use hands and arms to handle, position, and move materials. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials Basic Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Preferred Qualifications 6 (six) Months Manufacturing Experience Machine Operation Experience Work Conditions Manufacturing environment with noise levels commonly requiring hearing protection. Industrial Chemical Exposure. Stand, sit, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Lifting requirements: Wearing of Personnel Protective Equipment required, such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats or other PPE dependent on job duties. Minimum 10lbs Maximum 50lbs (Anything over 50lbs requires team lift) 25 pounds – 35 pounds repetitively. Move skids weighing up to 2,500 pounds with the use of mechanical or powered Pallet Jack.
